Sales Executive – Solutions Architect

Under the guidance and supervision of the Solutions Team Lead, Solutions Architects are responsible for sourcing, selling, and up-selling company solutions to clients within the designated territories.

This primarily involves applying business insights to build and maintain client relationships, incorporate hardware and software into client-valued solutions, and ensure client readiness to implement the best-fit technology solution from PARL’s portfolio. The role is based in Nairobi, Kenya and being one of the most instrumental roles within the organization, this role requires a self-motivated and result-oriented individual with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to create sustainable business relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

♦ Prospect for email marketing solution chances with relevant target clients

♦ Conduct cold calls to prospective clients and set appointments.

♦ Qualify prospects as per sales plan, budget and decision-making.

♦ Offer products and services to qualified prospects through demos.

♦ Handle sales process from prospecting through to closure and completion of the sales cycle.

♦ Build and document sales activities in company software and document activities.

♦ Engage in training meetings on product development and updates.

♦ Coordinate with the solutions team to enhance sales presentations and marketing collateral.

♦ Meet productivity metrics as directed by the solutions team lead.

♦ Handle customer presentations, quotations, EoIs, RFIs and RFQs

♦ Focus on horizontal markets and handle key prospects relationships


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

♦ Experience in prospect-client conversion within a sales channel enterprise business environment with a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets

♦ 2-4 years of working experience in ICT/ IT / Related Industry

♦ Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing or professional papers related to this field

♦ A solid understanding of SPSS software packages will be an advantage

♦ Ability to prospect, negotiate and convince a client to purchase

♦ Fluency in English and Swahili (Written and Spoken)

♦ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems.
